In a shocking incident that occurred in the Bodija axis of Ibadan, an explosion has left numerous people injured and caused significant destruction to buildings including houses, hotels, restaurants, and a shopping mall.
The explosion took place on Deji Oyelese Street, Adeyi Bodija, Ibadan, and the impact was felt throughout the city at around 7:30 pm, prompting widespread panic and a rush for safety.
Authorities have swiftly responded by cordoning off the affected area to restrict access and ensure the safety of the public. Only medical personnel and frontline workers are being allowed in for rescue operations.
