The Chairman of Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Oyo state, Alhaji Kunmi Mustapha has assured party members in the state that the party’s State Working Committee wouldn’t be party to any arrangement that wants to impose any aspirant on the people in the forthcoming local government election.
Alhaji Kunmi Mustapha while addressing protesting members of the party from various local government at the party secretariat in Ibadan Today the 6th of March 2021, restates his commitment to ensure an open process of selecting the flag bearer for local government elections.
“He said I can assure you that we will Conduct primaries in all the 32 Local Government Areas except for Egbeda LGA which has been resolved by stakeholders” he said.
Recall that this Newspaper had earlier reported how party members in the state stormed the party secretariat Today to Protest Against Imposition Of Candidates on them.
He further assures them that by monday, the plan for the primary election would ve made public and the candidate of the people would definitely be produce to represent the party.
