Oyo State Governor, Engineer Seyi Makinde has revealed the reason why he has been going to Abuja frequently.

 

The Governor while speaking at the flag-off ceremony of the dualization of Ojurin-Olorunda Abaa road, replied critics who accused him of going to visit Mr President in the last few days.

 

According to Makinde, “I’ve been reading it on the internet that I have been going to Abuja frequently.

 

“Let me ask them, where would I have gone to if I didn’t go to Abuja?

 

“I’ve going to Abuja to make a request for the refund of money we’ve spent on federal roads in the state.”

 

The highpoint of the event was the naming of the road after former Governor of Rivers State, Nyesome Wike who is the leader of the popular G5.
