Member of the Federal House of Representatives, Hon Olaide Akínrẹ̀mí has extolled the virtues of teachers, while also lauding their impact on our immediate communities and the world at large.
The Ìbàdàn North Federal Rep in a statement made available to journalists in the celebration of “World Teachers Day 2020”, made it known that teachers are priceless human resources with superhuman capabilities.
“Teachers are the world’s greatest human capital, their service is priceless and their impacts are everlasting. They help to build the world through impartation of knowledge and help shape destinies through moral instructions”, Hon Akínrẹ̀mí Jagaban said.
He further said, “We should be proud to celebrate teachers always and government at all levels should be committed to providing resources required by teachers to carry out their functions to the standard expected, as this will go a long way in bringing out the best from our children and wards”.
He concluded by appreciating teachers in all schools in Ìbàdàn North Federal Constituency and Ọ̀yọ́ State for their efforts in keeping pupils and students safe by taking adequate covid-19 precautions on resumption so far.
We remember that the Prince Akínrẹ̀mí Foundation (PAF) recently distributed face shield to SS3 students writing WAEC in some selected secondary schools in Ìbàdàn North as part of contributions to providing protection for them through the course of their examinations.
