In a remarkable celebration of academic excellence, Hon. Oluwaseun Olufade, Executive Chairman of Ibadan North Local Government, yesterday, January 26, 2026, rewarded outstanding students by covering the full cost of their Senior Secondary School Certificate Examination (SSSCE).
The initiative recognized the 21 participants of the 2024 Ibadan North Local Government Secondary Schools Quiz Competition.
The presentation held at the Ibadan North Local Government Secretariat, Agodi, Ibadan, was attended by students’ parents, school representatives, and key officials of the local government.
The atmosphere was filled with joy and appreciation as the young scholars were honored for their hard work, determination, and academic achievements.
The Head of Local Government Administration, Deacon Olabode Ajebisi, presented the fees on behalf of the Chairman.
He urged the students to continue to be diligent and committed to their studies, emphasizing that their outstanding performance in the quiz competition was a testament to their potential.
“Strive to excel in your SSSCE, make the chairman and your schools proud, and honor your parents’ sacrifices,” he advised.
Deacon Ajebisi also commended the parents for their unwavering support and guidance, praying that they continue to enjoy the fruits of their labor.
