The Oyo State Governor Engineer Seyi Makinde has reportedly forwarded names of additional Commissioner-nominees to the State House of Assembly.
TODAY SPLASH recalls that the Governor had earlier sent names of Akinola Ojo, Hon. Toyin Balogun, Prof Kehinde Sangodoyin, Mrs. Fausat Sanni, Prof Musbaudeen Babatunde, Barr. Seun Ashamu and Hon. Adeniyi Adebisi to the Oyo State lawmakers for screening and confirmation as Commissioners.
This newspaper also reported that all seven Commissioner-designates have been screened and confirmed by the lawmakers.
Gov. Makinde has again send a new list of Commissioner-nominees TODAY SPLASH gathered that the additional names are eleven and was sent to the Oyo State Assembly Complex yesterday.
A Swift notification by the Oyo State Assembly to convene today at the plenary in order to attend to an urgent State matter confirmed that Gov. Makinde letter was to be the subject matter.
