I’ve not Been Able to Sleep — Sunday Igboho Reacts to Lagos–Ibadan Expressway Attacks

Yoruba Nation agitator, Chief Sunday Adeyemo popularly known as Sunday Igboho has maintained that he has been finding it hard to sleep since he got informed about the recent kidnapping attempt and attack on commuters on Lagos–Ibadan Expressway.

Recall that more than 2 kidnapping attempts had been carried out on the Lagos–Ibadan Expressway in less than a week.

Subsequently, the Oyo State Police Command in collaboration with its Ogun State counterpart had deployed officers to mount the expressway, to curtail the continuous occurrence of the attack.

Reacting to the incident, Sunday Igboho in an Instagram post on Thursday, said that the incident is part of the reasons he and others are clamouring for an independent Yoruba Nation.

He said, “I’ve not had a proper sleep since I heard the news of what happened on Lagos-Ibadan expressway.

“It’s not like I’ve not heard about the occurrences that happened at the same place in the past but this time around, I fear for my people.

“This is one of the reasons we want Yoruba Nation, so our people can be protected and not exploited”, he asserted.

Sunday Igboho, who is in Benin Republic, added that: “Only if we can be in unity, I strongly believe in Yoruba Nation. I do not want my people to be a pawn used in the political games. God help Yoruba Nation.”
