Oyo state government under the Leadership of Governor Seyi Makinde as way a of ensuring and boosting the effective secondary health care service granted Semi autonomy to about four State Owned hospitals in the State.
This decision was made known during its 28th state executive council meeting chaired by Governor and conveyed by the Commissioner for Information, Culture and Tourism,Dr. Wasiu Olatubosun on Tuesday.
The hospitals are Adeoyo Maternity Hospital, Ring Road Hospital, State Hospital Oyo, and Saki Specialist Hospital.
Dr. Olatubosun explained that Governor Seyi Makinde has directed the relevant Ministries and Agencies concerned to work collectively and provide the necessary support to the ministry of health for quality health service delivery.
