Oyo State Governor Engineer Seyi Makinde has forwarded a request to the Oyo Assembly for approval to appoint Special Advisers.

 

A according to a report by Goalpoacher News, a source speaking on condition of anonymity said the Governor has sent the letter to the House of Assembly.

 

The lawmakers are currently on recess but may likely have an emergency sitting next week Tuesday.

 

According to the source, “Governor Seyi Makinde has written to the House of Assembly requesting the approval of the assembly to appoint Special Advisers.”

 

The number of Special Advisers to be appointed by the Governor wasn’t stated.

 

This online news platform gathered that the list of additional Commissioner-nominees may likely be available by Friday.

The source said the stakeholders of the Peoples Democratic Party had already ratified five names to be given state appointments in which one will be picked as Commissioner in all fourteen Federal Constituencies.
