The Oyo State House of Assembly has suspended the Executive Chairman of Akinyele Local Government.
The House clerk read the petitions signed and sent to the House by the Legislative Arm of the council.
The motion for his suspension was thrown to members of the Assembly at Plenary on Tuesday.
The motion for his suspension was supported by the Majority Leader and Seconded by the Minority Leader .
The House approved that the Vice Chairman should become the acting Chairman while the council’s Secretary takes over as the acting vice chairman and Assistant Secretary pending the conclusion of investigation.
