The Oyo State House of Assembly has suspended the Executive Chairman of Ibadan North Local Government.
The House clerk read the petitions signed and sent to the House leaders of the council.
The motion for his suspension was thrown to members of the Assembly at Plenary on Tuesday.
The motion for his suspension was moved by the deputy speaker, and Seconded by the Hon. Akintunde.
The House approved that the Vice Chairman should become the acting Chairman while the council’s Secretary takes over as the acting vice chairman and Assistant Secretary pending the conclusion of investigation.
