A Special Constabulary Of Nigerian Police (NPF), Yekini Fatai, hit by an accidental discharge from Ogundele Ibrahim, has been discharged from Hospital after receiving proper treatment.
It was learnt that, it was the DPO that invited Amotekun operatives to joined in dispersing a non-supposed carnival stage by some suspected hoodlums, and which the combined security outfits dispersed successfully.
However, Ogundele’s double barrel was said to have accidentally went off and regrettably hit the constable on his thigh.
The operative has been detained by NPF, while investigation still ongoing.
Thankfully, the victim has been discharged from the hospital..
