REVEALED: Why DSS Apprehends Wanted Former Oyo Motorpark Boss Auxiliary

0

Yesterday the former Chairman of the Oyo State Park Management System (PMS) Alhaji Mukaila Lamide Popularly known as Auxiliary was arrested by the Department of State Services (DSS)

Sources confirmed that Auxiliary was arrested around 4:00 pm on Tuesday at his residence in the Olodo area of Ibadan, the state capital.

While the precise reasons for his arrest remain unclear from the authorities, other sources reveal that it may be linked to an interview he granted on Saturday, May 4.

In the interview, Auxiliary criticized Seye Famojuro, an associate of Oyo State Governor Seyi Makinde, attributing his predicaments to him.

In his conversation with media personnel, Ajibola Akinyefa, conducted in Yoruba, the former PMS chairman accused Famojuro of orchestrating his troubles, asserting that consequences would befall him.

Auxiliary challenged allegations of his involvement in violent activities, questioning the lack of police reports against him. He also predicted Famojuro’s eventual departure from Ibadan, insinuating it wasn’t his native land.

Auxiliary’s previous arrest in May 2023 stemmed from alleged unrest instigated by his loyalists following the dissolution of the PMS committee by Governor Makinde. Although he evaded arrest during the raid, his subsequent declaration as wanted followed.

Efforts to contact the DSS spokesperson, Peter Afunnaya, proved futile as calls went unanswered, and text messages were unacknowledged.
