In a heartbreaking turn of events, the family of Bosun, a 34-year-old groom-to-be in Ibadan, Oyo state, is now grieving the untimely loss of their son, who tragically passed away on the eve of his wedding.
Bosun, accompanied by his best man, was involved in a fatal car accident on Idi-Ape Road while returning from his bachelor’s eve party. The incident occurred opposite Bova’s Petrol Station, Olowotinfowosanu Shopping Complex, Ibadan, and claimed the lives of two additional individuals, including the groom’s friends.
Prior to the accident on September 29, Bosun had been working as a dedicated staff member at a multinational company in Nigeria. His wedding, originally planned for Saturday, September 30, was overshadowed by the devastating news of his passing on Friday, September 29.
Eyewitnesses report that the accident occurred around 11 p.m. when the vehicles collided with a trailer during the offloading process. The groom’s body has been taken to Molly Hospital in Ibadan.
A close friend of the deceased, Sesan, expressed his grief on Facebook, writing: “This is too sad to bear. Rest in peace Bosun.”
