In the build up of the process of Selection New Vice Chancellor of University of Ibadan, the Council and the Selection committee will hold a special meeting on Wednesday, November 25, 2020.
This was contained in a confidential memo released and sent to all members of the Council.
It was gathered that the new Chancellor might like emerge after the meeting.
During the two-day meeting, the Council will be hearing outcome of the petition committee and other matters causing delays in the appointment of new VC. The current Vice Chancellor, Prof Idowu Olayinka’s tenure expires next week, November 30.
The Council members invited to the meeting include Pro-Chancellor, J. M. Wakek; Vice-Chancellor Olayinka F. A. S.; Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Academic), Prof. A. B Ekanola; and Deputy Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Olanike K. Adeyemọ.
