The Chief Medical Director of University College Hospital, Ibadan, Prof. Jesse Otagbayo, said that neither the Hospital nor Oyo State in general has any patient with the case of Yellow Fever.
Prof. Otagbayo stated this during at a news briefing in Ibadan, adding that the disease is most found in the Middle Belt area of the Country.
Otagbayo, however, advised the people to adhere to the precautions given by the government to fight against outbreak of infectious diseases, adding that this is necessary as some countries are experiencing another wave of the global pandemic.
He added that prevention of mosquito bites and use of it’s vaccine every ten years would make one stay healthy.
