In Commemoration of the World Teachers’Day celebration, the President of Nigeria, Major. General Muhammadu Buhari Rtd, has approved a new salary scheme for teachers across the country.
Represented Buhari, the Minister of Education, Adamu Adamu, stated these in Abuja on Monday during celebration of the 2020 World Teachers Day. He said the new salary scheme would motivate teachers and improve their welfare.
He added that the years of service of the workers under the teaching service Commission has been extends from 35-40 years.
